Berberine is sourced from the roots of the Indian Barberry Berberis aristata, and is gently extracted using water. Standardized to 28-34% and utilizing a phytosome delivery system, it is highly bioavailable. Each capsule provides a potent dose of berberine with chromium. Formulated for everyday use, simply take one daily before food. For intensive support, take 1 capsule twice daily before meals.*

To overcome the poor bioavailability of standard berberine, we use Berbevis Berberine Phytosome. The phytosome delivery system contains a food-grade matrix with lecithin and pea protein to enhance solubility. This optimizes absorption of berberine by 10 times. To further enhance bioavailability, this formula also contains polyphenols from grape seed extract. The polyphenols can prevent berberine from travelling back into the intestines after absorption.*
