Compounds naturally occurring in certain plants, phytoestrogens may mimic the effects of estrogen in the body. We’ve combined estrogenic herbs wild yam, black cohosh, dong quai and non-GMO soy in Solaray’s PhytoEstrogen Plus EFAs women’s complex, formulated to help support a normal hormone balance during perimenopause and menopause.

Our powerful complex contains 2.5% diosgenin from wild yam, a phytoestrogen that may be converted to progesterone in the body, plus 40% isoflavones from non-GMO soy per serving. We’ve also included oils rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs) for additional support. Evening primrose and borage oils contain rare gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a fatty acid thought to be beneficial to a woman’s reproductive health and balance, while flax seed oil contains naturally occurring omega fatty acids. Combined with plant estrogens, they may also help support healthy bone density and strength, skin and hair health and more.
